DEFINED BY DETAILS IN FABRICS

THE QUALITY WITHOUT COMPROMISE

True quality creates an emotion. We view our fabric not just as cloth, but as a second skin that honors your most private moments. Here is the story of our two essential elements: The Canvas (Silk) and The Art (Lace).

The Canvas

6A Grade Mulberry Silk

You cannot create a masterpiece on a poor canvas. While many brands stop at “100% Silk,” we go further.

We exclusively use 6A Long-Fiber Mulberry Silk, the highest grade available worldwide.

This distinction is crucial to the longevity of your garment. Unlike lower-grade alternatives that rely on short fibers, which tend to break and create a rough texture over time—our long, unbroken fibers ensure the fabric remains smooth, fluid, and durable, wash after wash.

The result is a fabric that offers a cooler, more breathable touch and a pearl-like luster that deeply honors the natural elegance of the material.

This is the Noirelle standard

Silk to soothe your skin, Lace to elevate your spirit

The Art

Leavers Lace

While silk touches your skin, it is the lace that captures the eye.

We exclusively use Leavers Lace, a rare and exquisite material woven on century-old looms by artisans who understand the value of patience.

This artistry is a rare craft; today, only a few of these historic looms remain in operation globally. Consequently, when you wear Noirelle, you are wearing a tradition that has been treasured by haute couture for generations.

Why lace matters more than you think.

A legacy woven in history

Leavers lace traces its origin back to Nottingham, England, in the early 19th century.
Invented by John Leavers in 1813, the Leavers machine was a revolutionary innovation that mechanized lace-making while preserving the delicate beauty of handmade lace.

Designed to replicate the fineness of bobbin lace, the loom became a symbol of precision and artistry. Its intricate construction allowed layered patterns to be woven directly into the fabric — something no other machine could achieve.

Over time, Leavers lace came to embody luxury and timeless elegance. From bridalwear to haute couture and fine lingerie, it has been treasured for generations, with Calais and Caudry in France still standing as iconic lace-making centers today.

Strength in delicacy

Lace is often perceived as fragile, but Leavers lace is different. It holds a hidden strength. Crafted with tightly interwoven threads, it resists fraying and holds its shape through time.

The texture is soft, never scratchy. It carries a smooth sheen and a rich, dimensional pattern that feels luxurious against the skin.
